Don’t you guys LOVE IT when you visit a blog and the author hasn’t updated in about… eh, a week or three?!!  Me either.  This heat and humidity has been killing my mood, ya’ll.  I mean seriously.  My iPhone, my elbows, my desk, my arm rest… all these things have to be wiped down six times a day, so they don’t look like the bottom of a Church’s chicken box.

I will have photos from my last wedding to share with you guys soon enough.

Until then, I want to share with you what I’m enjoying this very second.  Nope, it’s not Creme Brule cupcakes.  Nope, it’s not double chocolate cake.  Nope, it’s not basking in 100+ degree FL sunshine.

It’s my super fresh 100mm/2.8 macro lens and the sweetest, most fragrant peonies a girl could ask for.  I promised myself the other day I’d make time to smell the flowers.  And I did.

You know those people who come into your life and make everyday just a little more worthwhile?

Yeah, the ones who’s smile just lifts your heart and your spirit when you need it the most.  And the ones who wake up every morning with a smile regardless how little sleep he’s had from taking your housebreaking puppy outside (in the rain) at 4am.  And the ones who tell you how beautiful you are every morning no matter how much sleep is in your eyes or drool is on your pillow.

This guy of mine… he makes it all worthwhile.

So yeah, this family of five is absolutely-positively adorable.  If it weren’t for the horsefly-size mosquitoes, this shoot would’ve been perfect.  After rescheduling this shoot about 15 times, we finally… FINALLY… made it happen.

In more exciting news, my pups will be featured on the packaging for the new Snuggie for Dogs.  Ummm, can I get a woooohoooooooo?!

Most people won’t say this about themselves but I will… I have this huge heart.  I will pretty much do anything for anybody at anytime.

Anyway, when Kris and Katie from Kris Graham Photography contacted me out of the blue to come assist in a wedding, I was on board.  Not only is Kris a pleasure to work with, he’s probably one of the funniest guys ever.  We had a blast…
